We are very pleased to announce that Joe Rose will be our featured speaker for the February 19 meeting!!! Joe’s topic will be “Brewing Measurements”.  Come join us and find out “How Your Beer Measures Up”!!

Joe will discuss the following measurements in homebrewing:

• Resolution
• Precision
• Accuracy
• Temperature
• Volume
• SG
• Calibration

We will also have a commercial calibration lead by our new National judges. The calibration beer will be GABF-Gold-Medal-Winning KC Bier Co Pils. Be sure to pick up a 6-pack in advance of the meeting to taste along!

NOTE: Due to the change in our Annual Competition, we will be conducting judging sessions during the week/weekend of our normal May meeting (so there will not be a club meeting for the month of May).  As a result, we are moving up the 2021-22 Board Elections by one month.  As a result, we will make an initial call for Board Nominations during the February meeting.  We will then accept nominations for a 1-month period (up to and during the March business meeting on March 19, 2021).  The election will be held during the business meeting on April 16, 2021.  If you or someone you know is interested in being on the KCBM Board for the 2021-22 year, this is your opportunity to nominate and be added to the ballot!!!
